Some people live ninety years; some people live one year ninety times. You can live a life driven by dissatisfaction and unsettledness, or you can live a life of destiny that is overflowing with the abundant blessings God has for you.

What kind of life are you willing to live?

Step 1: Ask yourself if you are willing to live in God’s fullness.

There are two houses, one with electricity and one without. The power is available to both, but only those who know how to connect to it can experience its fullness. The house with light is not “lucky”—it is connected to the source of power.

In the same way, those who live in fullness, sometimes referred to as abundance, are not lucky; they have learned to walk in the blessings and promises that God has freely given. Abundant living is not accidental—it is the result of applying God’s Word and trusting in His provision.

God’s destiny if for us to live lives of abundance—spiritually, emotionally, and financially. The Lord has not created us to live in lack or limitation. The Bible tells us that He came so we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We are meant for more. God is waiting to open the door to a higher level of abundance in your life. But the question is: Are you willing to walk through that door?

Step 2: Say Yes to God’s plan for your life!

Take a moment before answering this question. Your answer will set into motion a powerful shift in your life. If you say “Yes” to God’s will with a whole heart, He will begin to work in ways you can’t even imagine. But if you answer with hesitation, doubt, or fear—asking, “What do I have to give up?” or “What will change in my life?”—you are holding back from receiving the destiny that God has for you.

When you say “Yes” to God’s fullness, you open yourself up to the overflow of His blessings. You are declaring that you trust Him to provide for you, and you are stepping into the fullness of His plan for your life. You may not see the whole path, but faith takes the first steps trusting there will be something solid to walk on with each stride.

Step 3: Grasp your “Set Point.”

In your heart, you have a set point for how much abundant grace you believe God wants you to have. This is not about money; it encompasses love, peace, joy, and success. If you want to understand your set point, take a look at your life. Do you expect to experience the fullness of God’s blessings, or do you settle for just enough?

Sometimes, unexpected blessings come into our lives, like a surprise gift or an unexpected provision. But unless we are ready to receive and steward those blessings, we can lose them as quickly as we received them. Just like the parable of the prodigal son, we can squander what God gives us if we don’t understand how to manage it wisely.

We must be prepared to hold the abundance God desires to pour into our lives. This takes developing a mindset that aligns with God’s Word. To truly walk in the fullness of what God has for us, we need to build our faith to accept and keep that abundance.

Step 4: Cleanse your heart and mind with God’s truth.

If you have a bucket of muddy water, you don’t need to focus on removing the mud; you just need to pour in clear, clean water. Similarly, when you begin to activate abundance in your life, the old beliefs that block your blessings will surface.

Maybe you’ve been taught that wealth is wrong or that living in abundance is selfish. These are lies the enemy uses to keep us from the fullness of God’s promises. But it doesn’t matter where these beliefs came from or how deeply they’ve been ingrained. What matters is that you focus on saying “Yes” to God’s truth and pouring His Word into your heart. As you do, the old beliefs will fade away.

You don’t need to understand all the roots of your beliefs; you just need to believe God’s Word and allow His truth to set you free. It’s your destiny!
